While I was talking with Stephen Lim and Roger Wang at RAM Studios in Damai last week, I let my webcam and camera run, in case there were any good sound bites. I managed to put together four clips. Thank you to Victor Ting from RAM for boosting up the volume for me.
These are NOT professional videos, but Stephen and Roger say some great things here. The points are all in the written interview as well, but it’s so nice to hear these guys voices! I’m really happy with these, and hope you enjoy them too.
Stephen talks about how he persuaded Michael Au (Jacky Cheung’s producer) to employ him.
Roger and Stephen talk about what it’s like to be a sound engineer.
Roger and Stephen talk about what being Sabahan means to them.
Roger and Stephen talk about the making of Jacky Cheung’s new jazz album, ‘Private Corner’, and — in particular — the fourth track ‘Love Scale’, composed by Roger and on which he plays.
All these videos are embedded within the text of THE FULL INTERVIEW HERE.
